Rob Lowe has an exciting new project on the horizon. The actor is set to play the lead role in the sequel to the raunchy comedy, 'Super Troopers.' Lowe, who has wokred on many projects including 'Parks and Rec', will play Guy Le Franc -- a former hockey player and current mayor of a Canadian town. Broken Lizard is the comedy group behind the entire project. They created the first film, and crowd funded money for the sequel via indiegogo. Initially their goal was $2 million dollars, however, they raised over $4.5 million. It's suspected that a good chunk of those funds went towards securing Lowe in a starring role.
