Oliver Stones long awaited biopic of controversial NSA whistle-blower Edward Snowden, is set to debut, and critics are calling the film a flattering portrait of the story of Edward Snowden. The director, who in the past has been criticized for many of his movies and their bold criticism of the U.S. governing style, has been unequivocal about his admiration for Snowden, continuously praising him and calling him a "hero" as far back as 2013.
