Matt Damon said that scheduling conflicts caused him to give up his starring role in "Manchester by the Sea." The film is about a man who is grieving the death of his brother and is made the legal guardian of his nephew. Casey Affleck took the role instead. Damon was a supervisor and producer on the film. The film is already receiving rave reviews from critics.
