Producer and 'Empire' series creator, Lee Daniels', has replaced the showrunner for his upcoming music drama "Star". The new showrunner, Chuck Pratt has come onboard the Fox midseason series as an executive producer. Pratt replaces original "Star" showrunner Charles Murray, who recently departed the Atlanta based music drama because his vision for the series differed from that of Daniels and co-creator Tom Donaghy. Sources say the split was amicable. ?Star? follows three young women who form a musical act. They work to navigate the cutthroat world of the music business on their way to success.
