VIDEO : Ben Affleck's Batman Will Star Joe Manganiello As Deathstroke

In an article published Thursday in the Wall Street Journal, DC Entertainment's Geoff Johns confirmed that actor Joe Manganiello has been cast as Deathstroke in Ben Affleck's upcoming Batman film. Created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez in 1980, Deathstroke is a mercenary and assassin, imbued with enhanced physical powers. Manganiello, of "Magic Mike" and "True Blood" fame, will face off against Affleck's Batman in a stand-alone film co-written by Johns and Affleck. And when asked whether Deathstroke would appear in Zack Snyder's "Justice League," which is currently in production, the DC president and chief creative officer declined to comment.
