VIDEO : Derek Hough Helps Kick Out Ryan Lochte Protesters On DWTS

The 23rd season of dancing with the stars kicked off Monday night with a bit of a rocky start. Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte was rushed by protesters during the live taping, only moments after his debut on the show with Cheryl burke. Even though the incident was hard, according to Ryan, it was made a little easier by derek hough who rushed from backstage to remove other protesters from the ballroom. While security guards did the actual tackling, derek told reporters he said, 'You all need to leave because this is our home, this is our house. This is a positive place, we don't need that here, so you just need to leave.'"
