Last week in an interview with People Magazine, Aerosmith frontman and former American Idol judge Steven Tyler revealed that he was interested in appearing in the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel, saying, "I would do anything to be in this movie? are you listening James Gunn?" On Monday, the movie's director responded to Tyler in a Facebook video and on Twitter, saying, "The answer is: Steven, yes I am listening. And I'm a big fan. He's a cool guy.
