It looks like comedian Eddie Murphy may be planning a return to stand up comedy. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Friday night, Murphy said that "he's eager to get back onstage." Murphy was once considered the "funniest man in America," but lately he's taken on some more serious acting roles. He was nominated for an Oscar for his role in Dreamgirls and most recently he starred in the tearjerker Mr. Church which comes out next week. When SNL had its 40th anniversary celebration, Murphy didn't even tell jokes. Instead he used his stage time to give a touching and serious monologue.
