Director J.J. Abrams is the king of the Science Fiction world at the moment, but that doesn't stop him from playing around with other genres. And Meryl Streep has proved over and over again that her acting abilities are without limits. So it comes as no surprise that the two are working on a limited-run television series based on the popular book The Nix. American writer Nathan Hill wrote the historical novel about a woman who is a political activist in the 1960's hippie era and accidentally strikes a governor with a rock during a protest. So far, there is very little information about when the series will air, or who will air it. But the combination of this fascinating plot, with Streep's outstanding acting, and Abram's directing abilities make it instant must-see TV.
