The president and chief creative officer at DC comics has made it official: Joe Manganiello will play Deathstroke The Terminator in the next Batman solo film. Johns confirmed the casting in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, where he also discussed his promotion to head of D.C. Films. He has unofficially overseen the D.C. Extended Universe for a few years, but only recently gained the official title.
