Mel Gibson is the Oscar-winning director of famed film, Braveheart, directed a film.
Since then, Gibson has gotten into a lot of trouble.
In 2006, the actor was pulled over for drunk driving and according to the police report, he asked if the arresting officer was Jewish, and said: "The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world.? Then, he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor battery charge after assaulting his then-girlfriend. And was also secretly recorded during custody battle over his daughter, saying nasty racial epithets to his ex-wife.
Since then, Gibson has apologized and has now come out with a new movie, WWII epic Hacksaw Ridge, which made its premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
