VIDEO : The Academy Honors Jackie Chan

Film icon Jackie chan has been a facet of the filmmaking industry since the early 1960s. Since his breakout role in the 1978 feature Snake in the Eagle?s Shadow, Chan has worked as an actor, director, producer, stuntman and martial arts master in Hollywood. One of the most hardworking and recognizable entertainers today, it was no surprise that The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences might wanted recognize his contributions to the industry. Chan will be given an honorary Oscar for outstanding lifetime achievements in filmmaking at the eighth annual Academy?s Governor Awards later this November.
