The antagonist of Fast and Furious, Laz Alonso, has taken on an new acting role. Alonso is staring alongside Paula Patton and Omar Epps in the Independent film "Stranded". The movie is thriller and based of the screenplay created by the director, Deon Taylor. In the film , Patton stars as a journalist who is abducted after she conducting her own research into the sex trafficking. Alonso stars as, Darren the childhood friend of Darren, played by Eps.
