Entertainment Tonight recently caught up with Miley Cyrus to talk about her role as one of two new female coaches, alongside Alicia Keys, on NBC?s The Voice in their upcoming season and why helping younger performers is important to her. Miley said " I wanted to be on The Voice as a coach after I mentored last time, I think, because everything I like to do in my life ? it has to be real, it has to be authentic, it has to be genuine,? . ?Sitting and watching people sing and helping people make music, it?s what I would do every day.? The Voice premieres on NBC on Sept. 19.
