Actors Michael Shannon and Taylor Kitsch have been announced as leads in a new yet-tobe-named miniseries about the Waco Siege. The headquarters of the Branch Davidians religious sect was raided in Waco, Texas in 1993 by the FBI, resulting in a stand off that left 80 members of the cult dead. The crime thriller is being adapted by The Weinstein Company and the Dowdle Brothers are reportedly writing and directing the series.
