Actor Mark Hamill has officially said goodbye to his now trademark Luke Skywalker beard. Hamill intially grew the beard for the final moments of Star Wars: The Force Awakens ? and kept the facial hair throughout the shooting of the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VIII. Despite the facial hair now being gone, Hamill said on Twitter this week that this was only a temporary goodbye for the beard, "at least until #EpisodeIX." Star Wars: Episode VIII is set for a December 15, 2017 release.
