In May, Fox announced that they had ordered 13 episodes of a new hour-long, live-action comedic drama series created and executive-produced by Emmy Award winner Seth MacFarlane, who is also set to star. As for MacFarlane, he is best known for being the creator, executive producer and voice actor on Family Guy, as well as executive producing the Peabody Award winning television series Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, directing and starring in the highest-grossing original R-rated film of all-time, Ted, and wrote, produced, directed and starred in the western-comedy film A Million Ways to Die in the West.
