Days before the pop star's 9th studio album is released, Lifetime has announced it will produce a TV movie biopic on the life of Britney Spears, starring Natasha Bassett as Britney. The female-friendly network describes the upcoming two-hour movie as the "tumultuous true story" of her rise to fame, her messy fall, and her triumphant resurrection. The real Britney Spears will perform at the MTV VMAs this Sunday.
