VIDEO : Jon Favreau Is Set To Direct First Episode of Seth MacFarlane New TV Series

Jon Favreau will direct and executive produce the first episode of Seth MacFarlane?s new Fox comedy series. The director will then stay on as a consultant, since the project was ordered direct-to-series. The untitled series is set 300 years in the future. It follows the adventures of the Orville, a not-so-top-of-the-line exploratory ship in Earth?s interstellar fleet. MacFarlane stars on the show, along with Adrianne Palicki and Scott Grimes, Peter Macon and J Lee, all playing members of the ship?s crew.
