The former 90210 star alleged that the management company failed to make insurance payments, causing her coverage to lapse. She says that led to her breast cancer diagnosis being delayed. The suit claims that, had the cancer been found earlier, she could have avoided a mastectomy. Doherty has kept her struggle with cancer in the public eye by sharing pictures of her treatments on Instagram.
