Famed singer and actress, Demi Lovato is being called out in a court of law by the band Sleigh Bells for copyright infringement. Alexis Krauss and Derek Miller of the Brooklyn-based Sleigh Bells said in the suit, which was filed on Monday in California federal court, that a bonus track on Lovato's 2015 album "Confident," called 'Stars' bears a resemblance to their 2010 song "Infinity Guitars" that is more than just coincidental.
The suit says the similarity between the two songs "transcends the realm of coincidence or shared generic material, and inform the very essence of the works."
