Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman is taking a swing at filmmaking and wrote, directed, and stars in the film adapted from Israeli author Amos Oz?s memoirs.
A Tale of Love and Darkness is not a film for those with short attention spans as it is a long labored storytelling that that takes you through a turbulent time. The film takes you through Oz?s 2002 memoirs of growing up as a young boy in Jerusalem, the son of a frustrated scholar, played by Gilad Kahana.
