According to sources, Ben Affleck is in talks to direct and star in a new movie adaptation of Agatha Christie's short story 'Witness For The Prosecution' for FOX studios. Christopher Keyser will write the script for the film which is based on a story about a lawyer defending a client in a murder trial that contains many surprises. Witness for the Prosecution was previously adapted for the big screen in a 1957 movie that starred Tyrone Power and Marlene Dietrich. Affleck, who directed Argo and the upcoming Warner Bros. film Live By Night, is also planning to direct and star in a new Batman movie for FOX.
