Amy Schumer has spoken out against her former writer Kurt Metzger, who has received criticism for defending an accused serial rapist. Schumer, who just released her first book, The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo, spoke with Charlie Rose about Metzger in an interview that will air on Friday. Metzer has written dozens of episodes for Schumer's show, "Inside Amy Schumer." While many were calling on Schumer to fire Metzger from her show, Schumer said it wouldn't be necessary since her show is on hiatus. She defended Metzger by saying, "?Kurt?s my friend. I love him," but also added that "?He baits people, he?s the problem, no question."
