Christie Brinkley is defending her teenage daughter on social media. The supermodel took to her instagram account to ask users to be kinder and more throughful on social media. Her daughter, Sailor Brinkley Cook, posted a screen shot of comments to her instagram of users criticizing her appearance and college enrollment. Cook wrote that these comments were hurtful, and asked followers to stop comparing her to her mother and sibilings. In response, Brinkely posted a video of her daughter, and asked followers to "choose to create beauty, through mutual respect, compassion and love."
