Roy Harper Arsenal Arrow Season 5: Colton Haynes May Not Return Just Yet During the early seasons of Arrow, they brought on Colton Haynes to portray Roy Harper in the series. Harper at one point in time was a mainstay to the cast of the show and sidekick to Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell). Even with the character being a vital piece to the team Arrow assembled, the end of season three moved him on to a new life. Still, Haynes was a fan favorite on the show and since his departure, viewers have hoped to get more appearances from him as the show moved forward.
