Last year, it was announced that the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, which has been dormant since 2009, would be getting a reboot with David Leslie writing the screen play. Since the announcement, details on the film have stayed quiet. Recently, a concours-twitter.htm">twitter user asked if actor Kevin Bacon could play Fredd Krueger, the lead scary character. Bacon responded to the user, and wrote: "I like the way you think". Although nothing is official, fans were quick to point out that Bacon would be a good choice for the role. The seasoned actor has experience in horror movies such as Friday the 13th and Hollow Man.
