VIDEO : Martin Scorsese's Mobster Movie 'The Irishman' Gets Greenlight

Nobody does a mobster movie quite like Martin Scorsese and now he is aiming to film another one called, "The Irishman". According to a recent article on screenrant.com, Scorsese will be reuniting with Goodfellas alum Robert DeNiro and will also be working with Al Pacino for the first time. There is even a rumor that Marty might be able to coax Joe Pesci out of his retirement from acting. The Irishman is based on the life of gangster, Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran which was recounted in the novel, "I Heard You Paint Houses" by Charles Brandt. The filming should begin in early 2017 with a release set for the end of 2018, just in time for Academy Award nominations.
