Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are joining forces again for an adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's "Holmes and Watson." The film will be directed by Etan Cohen. When the film was first cast in 2008 Sascha Baron Cohen was slated to play Sherlock Holmes with Ferrell playing Watson. Now, Ferrell has assumed the role of Holmes and Reilly will portray his assistant, Watson. Reilly and Ferrell have collaborated many times before in films such as Talladega Nights and Step Brothers.
