MTV has confirmed that Britney Spears will return to the Video Music Awards stage to perform at the ceremony for the first time in ten years. The superstar will debut her new song "Make Me..." featuring G-Eazy, from her upcoming album Glory. MTV released a teaser for Britney's performance, and it gave fans major nostalgia as it included elements from various costumes of the icon's past VMA performances. Throwbacks included the "Slave 4 U" python from 2001, the "Oops! I Did It Again" red leather jumpsuit, and the wedding costume from when Spears sang "Like a Virgin" with Madonna and Christina Aguilera in 2003. The 2016 VMAs will air Sunday, August 28 at 9 p.m.
