Yesterday, during his latest Q&A with his fans, filmmaker James Gunn, who became an overnight A-list director after the success of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, was asked to share his thoughts on Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Suicide Squad. Seeing as though Shazam is the only DC property Gunn mentioned that's currently in the pipeline, you have to wonder if WB/New Line approached Gunn about helming the film, which will star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Black Adam and be released in April of 2019. Set to the backdrop of ?Awesome Mixtape #2,? Marvel?s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team?s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos.
