Kim Cattrall and Toby Jones have joined the cast of the two-part TV adaptation of Agatha Christie's short story Witness for the Prosecution. Filming began in Liverpool on Monday. The 23 page story has been adapted by screenwriter Sarah Phelps, and Julian Jarrold directs. The series is being produced by BBC One along with A & E Network and Acorn Media Enterprises. It will premiere in the U.S. on Acorn TV.
