During a recent interview with EW, Jessica Jones showrunner Melissa Rosenberg was asked about what she is planning to put in Jessica?s way next season. It sounds like at least two villains could be featured prominently in the story. While she did not reveal which characters in particular they are planning on using, Jessica will have more foes in her corner of Hell?s Kitchen. The reason according to Rosenberg is not just to add more people to the universe, but to change up the formula as to not try and repeat themselves with Kilgrave. One of the potential villains for the second season could be Nuke after his backstory and relationships being set up in Jessica Jones season one. Another possibility is that Trish Walker transforms into Jessica Jone's antagonist Hellcat.
