VIDEO : New Hugh Hefner Documentary Series Headed to Amazon

Amazon has announced it's greenlit a documentary series about High Hefner and his Playboy Empire. The thirteen-part series will be titled "American Playboy: The Hugh Hefner Story." It will combine reenactments with archival footage and interviews to tell the story of Hefner and his impact on American culture. Hefner himself is said to be intimately involved in the production. He's made available thousands of his personal scrapbooks and tens of thousands of hours of archival footage. The show is epected to premiere on Amazon's streaming service some time in 2017.
