(Photo: Entertainment Weekly) Fans of the character are aware that Doctor Strange is known as Marvel's Sorcerer Supreme, and as such is responsible for protecting the world of magic as well as guarding against it when necessary. To accomplish that task, Strange has a bevy of tools and mystical items at his disposal, but actor Benedict Cumberbatch doesn't see those as the ultimate reason that Strange belongs in the superhero realm. ?This man reaches the very bottom and then more,? says Cumberbatch. He?s broken, he gets up again, he?s broken ? and that?s really what makes him a superhero.
