Although director James Wan has firmly avoided commenting on whether or not Black Manta will appear in his upcoming DC Extended Universe feature film 'Aquaman,' the rumors have been planted. Actor Michael K. Williams of series such as 'The Wire' and 'The Spoils Before Dying' has expressed wishes to portray the villain, should he be confirmed for the film. He retweeted a Twitter user's proposal, along with the message, "Let's go!"
