VIDEO : 46 Years Later, John Waters Still Shocks With 'Multiple Maniacs'

When filmmaker John Waters released Multiple Maniacs 46 years ago audiences were shocked. Now the film is making a limited release run in art-house cinemas across the country, and it's continuing to shock. While the majority of the film's contents are Not Safe For Work, let's just say it features Divine performing her take on Elizabeth Taylor and lots of vulgarity and hilarity ensues. During the span of his filmmaking career, Waters has made 16 films but it's been 12 years since his last one which was called A Dirty Shame. The Hairspray creator says it's unlikely that he'll be making anymore films as he focuses more on his writing and live performances these days.
