Amazon announced on Thursday that it has ordered 13 episodes of the Hugh Hefner docuseries American Playboy. The series is scheduled for a 2017 release and it will combine footage from Hef's personal archive along with reenactments and interviews. The founding of Playboy magazine will be the focus of the series along with how Hefner has transformed American culture.
