News confirms that Jennifer Lopez will star as notorious drug lord Griselda Blanco in a TV movie currently in development for HBO.
Blanco was known as "The Cocaine Godmother,"
Her heyday was in the 1970s and 1980s, and reportedly she was responsible for up to 200 murders during her infamous reign.
In 1985, she was arrested by DEA agents at her home in California, and was sentenced to ten years in prison before being deported to Colombia in 2004. In 2012, Blanco was killed in a driveby shooting in Medellin after being shot twice in the head.
