VIDEO : Stephen Colbert Will Broadcast Three Live Episodes During the Presidential Debates

Stephen Colbert Stephen Colbert is going live again. Like he did during the Republican and Democratic National Conventions, Colbert will broadcast three live episodes of The Late Show following the upcoming presidential and vice presidential debates. The shows are set to air on Monday, Sept. 26 after the first presidential debate, followed by a Tuesday, Oct. 4 episode following the vice presidential debate and a Wednesday, Oct. 19 show after the third presidential debate. The Late Show's live broadcasts during the recent political conventions generated the show's two biggest viral clips to date thanks to Jon Stewart?s guest appearance and Laura Benanti?s impersonation of Melania Trump.
