Winona Ryder was interviewed by New York Magazine recently and she opened up about the perception that she is crazy because she admitted to being anxious and depressed in the past. Ryder stated, "I'm so sick of people shaming women for being sensitive or vulnerable. It's so bizarre to me." Ryder added that maybe being anxious and also in touch with her feelings is what allows her to work as an actor. She said, ""I wish I could unknow this, but there is a perception of me that I'm supersensitive and fragile. And I am supersensitive, and I don't think that that's a bad thing." Ryder most recently starred in the Netflix series, Stranger Things where she plays a mom riddled with anxiety over the disappearance of her son.
