Pop star and singer Mariah Carey loves the show Empire, and has let her fans know how much she loves keeping up to date on it. But it turns out she gets to live every fans dream: appearing as a guest star on the show. During the bi-annual Television Critics Association press conference this weekend, CBS revealed that Carey will be in the October 5th episode, and, of course, she's going to be singing as well. Her character is going to help Jussie Smollett's character, Jamal Lyon deal with a creative block and collaborate with her on a new song. The third season of Empire premiers September 21st.
