Nobody makes Baby star in the Dirty Dancing remake, nobody! Jennifer Grey who originated the starring role of Baby was offered a part in ABC's made for television remake but she declined. Grey said she didn't want to mess with the original and thought she should stay away from the reboot. Grey said, "It feels like if you're going to do your own thing, do your own thing. I wouldn't say [what role was offered] but I will tell you, it wasn't Baby!" Actually Baby will be played by Abigail Breslin from "Little Miss Sunshine" Grey spoke with "The Hollywood Reporter" that she can't wait to see what the new movie will be like. No word yet on when it's going to be aired. Grey also said some nice things about her former co-star Patrick Swayze. She said he was fearless, smelled great, and had great skin.
