Actor Channing Tatum is flipping the script on gender norms in Hollywood! The 'Magic Mike' star has just been cast in Disney's remake of hit 1984 film 'Splash', But here's the kicker...Tatum will be taking on the role of the mermaid originally played by actress Daryl Hannah. Actress Jillian Bell will take on the Tom Hanks' character, who in the original is an unlucky-in-love New Yorker who was saved by a mermaid as a child. This mermaid finds him 20 years later, they fall in love, and Hanks must choose between life with her in the ocean or his life as a human in New York.
