45-year-old actress Shannen Doherty told Entertainment Tonight that her breast cancer has spread. She said, "We discovered that some of the cancer cells might have actually gone out of the lymph nodes." Doherty will now have to undergo radiation and chemotherapy. "The unknown is always the scariest part," she added. Doherty was diagnosed with breast cancer in March of 2015 and she had a single mastectomy in May. The 90210 actress posted photos on Instagram last week of her shaving her head.
