VIDEO : Before Reading Script Jai Courtney Signed On For Suicide Squad

Australian actor Jai Courtney signed on to play Captain Boomerang in Suicide Squad before even reading the script. Courtney said he took the opportunity before the script was even written beacuse he specifically wanted to work with director David Ayer. According to Courtney Ayer "wants things to be grounded in reality and authentic and cool," and that's what drew him to the project. He also said he enjoyed being the "class clown" on set. Suicide comes to theaters in the U.S. on August 5.
