It looks like the "Mary Poppins" sequel might be getting another star. Word got out that Oscar winner Meryl Streep is in talks to join the case of Disney's upcoming "Mary Poppins Returns". If so, Streep will join Emily Blunt and "Hamilton" creator and star, Lin Manuel Miranda. According to Variety, Streep would be taking on the role of Topsy, Poppin's cousin, who did not appear in the original film. If Streep joins the cast, this will be her third film with Blunt. They both appeared in "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Into the Woods." The film hit theaters in December of 2018.
