Lionsgate is developing a feature film based on BBC's Jekyll, a 2007 six-episode miniseries that provides a modern twist on Robert Louis Stevenson classic tale. , Lionsgate wants Marvel Studios' Captain America, Chris Evans, to play the dual role of Dr. Jekyll (known as Dr. Tom Jackman) and his dangerous alter-ego Mr Hyde. The Jekyll feature film is being produced by Ellen DeGeneres and Jeff Kleeman. The script has been written by The Nice Guys and Doc Savage screenwriters, Anthony Bagarozzi and Charles Mondry. No director is currently attached to the project.
