Tom Hanks is set to be honored at this year's Museum of Modern Art film benefit on Nov. In conjunction with the tribute, MoMA will also present a Nov. 8-14 screening series of the following Hanks films: A League of Their Own, Philadelphia, Toy Story, Toy Story 2 and The Ladykillers . His work as an actor has brought him both movie stardom and the deep respect of his peers," MoMA film curator Rajendra Roy said in a statement.
