A star from NCIS will be joining HBO's upcoming The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.
The Hollywood Reporter reported that Rocky Carroll has been cast in the HBO Films telepic based on Rebecca Skloot's nonfiction best-seller of the same name.
Starring Oprah Winfrey, the biopic tells the story of Henrietta Lacks, a poor black woman who died of cervical cancer in 1951. Winfrey will play the lead character, Henrietta's daughter, Deborah Lacks.
